Chance the Rapper surprised NPR staff last month, dropping by to perform a “Tiny Desk Concert.” Today, they’ve shared the video. “I didn’t know it was actually, actually in an office,” Chance said in his introduction, before opening with Coloring Book’s “Juke Jam” alongside a three-piece band and four backup singers. He then read a poem specially written that morning. (Interrupted by a building-wide announcement on the loudspeaker, Chance joked, “He’s like, ‘Shut the fuck up! No more poetry!’”) To finish, he covered Stevie Wonder’s “They Won’t Go When I Go.”
