From Kim Kardashian to Iggy Azalea to Nicki Minaj, we’re so obsessed with booties these days, that Sir Mix-A-Lot is starting to look like a wise old prophet from his early ’90s fascination. On Thursday (Nov. 13), TMZ caught up with the 51-year-old anatomy expert and got him to spill the beans on his inspiration for “Baby Got Back.”
It was Jennifer Lopez. He’s a Kim fan, he admits, but it was J.Lo looking good on the old sketch comedy show In Living Color that got him to write the lyrics.
With all the attention she’s been getting, we think Kim will be able to get over Mix-A-Lot’s nod to tradition. And besides, we have the sample in “Anaconda” to connect the booties of the past to the booties of the present and future.
