A-Trak has revealed the finalists for this year’s inaugural Goldie Awards competition, in which 8 DJs and 8 music producers will be pitted against each other in a live contest to be held at Brooklyn Steel on September 7. Competitors were chosen from over 300 online submissions from around the world, with contestants from the USA, Japan, Germany, Portugal, and more. Prizes for the winners include a DJ booking at Fool’s Gold Day Off, the opportunity to release music on Fool’s Gold, and more. This year’s judges panel includes Diplo, Mannie Fresh, Just Blaze, Mija, Craze, HARD Festival founder Destructo, and the Whooligan.
