Tyga linked up with Ty Dolla $ign in early July for “Move To L.A.,” an A.E. and Bedrock-produced track that appears on Tyga’s recent mixtape #BitchImTheShit2. On the song, Tyga reimagines Ma$e and Total’s 1997 hit “What You Want,” borrowing lines and emulating Ma$e’s flow. “Move To L.A.” also takes pointers from Curtis Mayfield’s “Right On For the Darkness,” which is sampled on Ma$e’s track.
