“DMX is simply unpredictable. No one knew exactly what to expect when the Dog sat on the “RapFix Live” red couch on Wednesday (September 12), but the gravelly voiced rap legend proceeded to take viewers through a series of emotional ups and downs — and even shed a few tears.

Though he was mostly upbeat, things got emotional for X when “RapFix” host Sway Calloway asked him about his mother.

“Me and mother always had a rocky relationship,” DMX said, recalling his breakdown during an April episode of VH1’s reality series “Couples Therapy” where he first cried reminiscing on his mom.”
