In honor of the release of the Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me, Boiler Room has connected Warren G and Dam-Funk for a ride through Los Angeles’s most important hip-hop sights. In the clip, Warren G shares his memories of working with Tupac, while Dam-Funk remembers the rapper’s enduring influence and legacy.

“Tupac was a great man,” Warren G told The FADER. “He gave opportunity to artist and producers who never thought they would have a chance to show their worth to the music industry and film industries. He gave positive guidance about life, how to navigate away from harm and situations that could end your life or put you in a terrible place.”

Dam-Funk added: “It was an honor and pleasure to roll around L.A. with Warren G, discussing the late, great Tupac Shakur, revolving around his musical journey in this city via some of Warren’s productions on Pac, stories, studios, and hangs while he was based here. Much respect to both artist and legends.”
