Imagine you’re minding your own business, doing a little shopping at the mall, when both Britney Spears and Ellen DeGeneres pop up.
“I believe that you are a huge celebrity,” Ellen says to the pop princess before entering the Westfield Fashion Square mall in Sherman Oaks, California. “You need to take advantage of your celebrity.”
And they did exactly that. Customers stood by to watch and record videos as the two celebrities kicked and punched a punching bag that just happened to hanging in the middle of the mall. Thanks to Spears’ celebrity status — and Ellen’s incredible sales skills — Britney walked out of the store with a brand-new suit and eventually ended up taking a snooze in a furniture-store bed.
