A couple of months ago, Nile Rodgers posted a still from a video of Daft Punk paying tribute to the founding father of disco, and now you can finally watch the full tribute.

The full video isn’t that long to be honest, it would seem that the tribute is taken from a documentary about Rodgers’ life and music, called Nile Rodgers: From Disco To Daft Punk, which has been created by Franco-German TV station Arte.

During the 1 minute clip, Guy-Man can be seen putting on a vinyl of Carly Simon’s ‘Why’, which Rodgers produced alongside Bernhard Edwards, and then Guy-man and Thomas sit at a vintage computer and type a short message to Rodgers, and that’s about it.
